Listened to Metallica’s latest album, Death Magnetic (what horrible name) and wasn’t much impressed with it. Although there were some good tunes, like the first single “The Day That Never Comes” and “The Unforgiven III” (I want to see how many sequels can they milk out of it).

You want impressive metal? Listen to Slipknot’s All Hope Is Gone. I don’t care what people have to say about Slipknot—the album is rock-solid and their best yet. There’s a reason why it debuted first on The Billboard 200 chart.

In any case, isn’t it disturbing that Metallica went berserk with Napster, but was completely not bothered by the leak of Death Magnetic?

Let us ponder this point while singing with glee to these cats singing “Enter Sandman”, off The Black Album:

My favourite is the guitar solo part. =)
